Words? word.

Cami's little vocabulary is expanding daily. Sure, it may be extra difficult at times to decipher what certain ones are, but she's talking so much none the less. She talks to herself when she plays, when she crawls, when she's riding in her car seat...all day long she's a Chatty Kathy. I can really relate to this little doll when she talks to herself, because I too, have some of my best conversations with myself. I've taken the liberty of posting her current list of words, and they're phonetic spelling, in the event you run across Miss Chatty Kathy, er um, Chatty Cami.

WORD (sounds like) :
dog ( da, dug, do )
ball (ba )
momma (momma, but must be said as tongue sticks out)
dadda (dadda)
bye/bye bye (ba/ ba ba)
huh? (huh? , huh!, huh.)
oh! (oh!, oh., oh?)
Cat (Ca, caw, Ki)
toy ( ta)
Laura (Laurla, Lala)
Hi! (Ha)
no (na - must be said while shaking head back and forth as "no no")

That should pretty much cover her expansive list of words. Feel free to memorize each of them, and their proper pronunciation (sounds like) and you will be on your way to a truly enlightening conversation with my little baby, should you run into her one day.

    Hey everyone, this is Cam's Uncle Casey (cici for short). Yesterday her Aunt LaLa and I took Cam on an excursion around the Greater Tulsa area. She was very gleeful to be cruising town, of course it's because EVERYONE was looking at her as we drove by. If someone was not looking at her, she made sure to make enough noise that they would look. We love this little girl more everyday. She has yet to do anything wrong in my book, and that includes pulling the hair out of my arm.:) I do suggest to anyone that taking Cameron shopping with you means that you WILL be spending money on her, whether you want to or not. Those brown eyes dont understand what the word no means. Well we are possibly taking her to the park tonight to eat bugs when we aren't looking so I must say farewell till then. I will post her bug menu tomorrow if we discover her favorites foods at the park. Uncle CiCi

    Uncle CiCi,

    I just have to make a minor correction...Cam understands the word "no" as you said she does not...but you see, what she also understands is the fact that YOU and Aunt LaLa CANNOT say "no" to her. This girl is crafty and you have to watch out because her charms are overwhelming to some! She will be ready and waiting for the park outing later and I'll make sure she's rested up so you'll have a "full fledged Cam" to play with.
